This apprenticeship will develop the skills, knowledge and understanding required to work in a Team Leading role across all sectors. Those working in team leading roles need a broad range of skills to work efficiently and to help increase productivity by developing, training and mentoring staff.
This apprenticeship is suitable for those who have progressed to a supervisory role. Apprentices undertaking this should be in a role that includes a considerable amount of responsibility.

This apprenticeship is delivered directly into the workplace by way of teaching, support and assessment.
Entrants for this apprenticeship should be in a position where they are responsible for the supervision, training and development of other staff. Apprentices must demonstrate that they are working to Level 1 Functional Skills in Maths, English and ICT.
Apprentices who successfully complete the intermediate apprenticeship can expect to progress within their chosen industry. This could include progression on to advanced apprenticeship in Management.
